Fitness And Health - An Urgent Part Of Our Lives

The importance of fitness and health is sometimes underestimated by folk. Folks just don't get why it is important to exercise everyday! It's quite frustrating attempting to get my mother to grasp that she shouldn't be eating that chocolate mousse whenever she passes by the confectioners' but will she listen? Na uh! However there is still hope for lots of folks out there, who are open to recommendation. Remember that it's not ever too late to increase muscle.

How are health and fitness Related?

Health and fitness go together. This is simply because, the fitter you are the more fit and better you feel. Staying fit not only helps you feel better about yourself, but keeps the danger of many life-threatening illnesses at bay!

likewise, fit people have so much energy! Whether it is at home, or at work, fit folks are always ecstatic. After a busy day in the office, many of us don't have the patience or the energy to play with our youngsters. But if you're healthy and fit, then you will be able to do it!

moreover, when you're active and stay fit, you use more calories all of the time, even when you are sleeping. This is because your basal metabolic rate increases and you don't have to think carefully about getting that ice cream for yourself ( not everyday though ). Moreover, you don't have to be a sports figure to stay fit and healthy. A moderate level of activity is ok.

Recommended Exercise

For health-related fitness, brisk walking for 2 and a half hours a week will do just fine. Or, you may even do vigorous work-outs, like running for about an hour and a quarter a week as well. Commence with walking and slowly progress to jogging. Or increase the duration of your walking if you are not happy with jogging.

So what are the benefits of a high level of health and fitness? Except for feeling great about yourself and getting a whole storehouse of energy, you also lower the danger of heart illnesses, diabetes, high cholesterol and blood pressure and even a few sorts of cancers!

Now isn't that something? I would say this is the cheapest kind of medical therapy available on the planet! So never underestimate health and fitness, keep burning your calories! - 30514
